Damn - I used to do a lot of my climbing in Rouvy (the Col D'Aubisque which I've done several times). It was more scenic.

You won't be the first to get caught out. There's an ongoing theme in the Zwift Riders thread on FB where people think they're about to get the Tron at 8848m and then realise they have another 41152m to climb

The climbing portal makes it a bit easier. Need an excuse/motivation. Plus arthritis in my knee means I need quad work as part of the rehabilitation.

Just done my first ride after update.
It wouldn't let me have heroic for Cote du Pike
Felt like they have been playing with the draft engine or the climb engine as even 0 -1 1 impacted pedal stroke a lot more.

I'm sure I saw Heroic on Cote du Pike, but I just opted for Normal. Annoyingly I was on course for a mild pb, and the gears screwed up on the final bit to the finish, and wouldn't change onto the bigger cog, so I was sat there watching the seconds get flushed away while I tried to get the chain to sit, when it did, it was too bloody late.

Well if it's locked for you, it's bound to me triple locked for me. Not that I need it any harder. My TT only goes up to 15% anyway (which I think is just as well).

I think I read that you can only do heroic if you've previously done the climb on 100%? I've never actually tried the climb portal though so I'm not sure.
