Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ta thanks for the advice all. The start wasn't quite the eyeballs out I was expecting (probably needs to be if I want to nab a podium spot), I wanted to make sure I didn't blow up and I didn't, and I could do some damage on the hills at cat C level, I was breezing through my bunch just on the underpass, it's just on the flat I get gradually ground down. But not losing the draft was critical, even if it meant a couple of times 450W+ to get back to them when I just became detached. Moe care there... and making sure the phone is on Wifi for the power ups too. I had a feather I couldn't use.

I enjoy those lists of frames / wheels etc, thanks for sharing.

I did my 1st proper race at lunchtime, just a short one @ 35 mins or so. Raced in B cat and managed 4.4 w/kg avg and finished well down the list. So, it's defo not all about w/kg!

Lots to learn: missed the final sprint as I didn't really see it coming, still left miles behind on the 'lead in', and more. It's great fun though, isn't it!? I'll be back.

Sounds like WW may benefit from the 250W threshold - the races to enter will be those going up the Alpe or Innsbruck KOM :-)

Yesterday I gave up sugary treats, tomorrow I plan 4-5 hours on Zwift. Anyone ride unfueled or use some sort of healthier alternative?
