Big_G Nov 2024 10:30am, 8 Nov 2024 4,189 posts	Quote Pin Big_G Andy Rayner mentioned that brands realise that rather than advertising on Google it may be better to tie up with an influencer in terms of exposure etc. An elite may turn up at a race every now and again but may not be that active on social media/YouTube. An influencer will go to loads of races and post very regularly.

Most of the video is the few days prior to the race, with some footage from his wife and bystanders of the race itself. I think him and Canadian Olympian Rory Linkletter (also has a channel) went to the same college - they definitely know each other. Adam’s wife has her own channel, and I think has represented Peru on the track. I guess he’s technically an amateur/sub-elite, but I don’t think I know any other amateur who scopes out a running track to do a small session at marathon pace whilst abroad in the days before a marathon, so he’s obviously pretty serious! https://youtu.be/Z7lg5emrp-Y?si=psiSHyILgqHONrmY
