I haven't updated about Polly, son2's dog. There was talk of being injected with ?platelets ?red blood cells ? stem cells - sorry I can't remember exactly, but the purpose would be to encourage stronger ligaments and tendons in the affected leg. 'But,' said the vet, 'I think we'll try a bit of watchful waiting and minimal, gentle exercise only first'. To everyone's relief, the rest seems to have done the trick and she's back to normal. But it's good to know there is a treatment option if it becomes necessary in the future.

His hip is stiff and sore, but it's not clear what's the problem. More metacam and keep an eye on him for a few days. He's currently snoring gently on the settee under a blanket.
