Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Our Tuss is at the vets with serious issue with his back left leg. He's struggling to go up steps and lifting him makes him cry in pain. Praying not serious

Oh I hope Tuss has just tweaked something relatively minor - let us know how he gets on please DT.

I haven't updated about Polly, son2's dog. There was talk of being injected with ?platelets ?red blood cells ? stem cells - sorry I can't remember exactly, but the purpose would be to encourage stronger ligaments and tendons in the affected leg. 'But,' said the vet, 'I think we'll try a bit of watchful waiting and minimal, gentle exercise only first'.
To everyone's relief, the rest seems to have done the trick and she's back to normal. But it's good to know there is a treatment option if it becomes necessary in the future.

Tuss had a metacam injection. Vet checked his spine and that's okay. His hip is stiff and sore, but it's not clear what's the problem. More metacam and keep an eye on him for a few days. He's currently snoring gently on the settee under a blanket. Thanks for kind wishes all heart

LD - That does sound like good news about Polly.

DT - Hope Tuss is back to his usual self without any drama soon. Good to hear that it's not spinal!
