Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

She was indeed a sturdy beast! Totally different build to Stella.

Well, I have paid the adoption fee and the transport deposit for 'my' dog, and fingers crossed he will be arriving on the 29th of April :-)

His name at the moment is Wilky...I think we might change it (unless he looks particularly like a Wilky!) My friends keep suggesting hilarious names like Manuel and Pedro (because he's Spanish, get it...?) I think the poor dog has had a tough enough start in life without being given a comedy name!

I think we watched the same programme. I found the info about body language and training quite interesting. I think Ernie is a long way from running in front of my bike. That said he was a total star whilst we were away. Lots of fantastic recall. My sister's husband encourages their border terrier to chase rabbits and pigeons - it made things quite difficult as I discourage such things.

Oooh how exciting Maz. We changed Wanda's name from Wandle but chose Wanda to keep it close enough to her original name so it was less confusion for her amongst a whole load of other confusion and unsettling stuff...

Missed Maz's post. Exciting! QP picked Ernie's name. I think I would have found it hard.

Wilko would be cooler than Wilkie in my humble.

You are FAR to young to have even heard of Dr. Feelgood, Maz... but they were a band with a fabulous and very eccentric guitarist called Wilko Johnson. He is also a great bloke with a very cool medical miracle story.

Wanda is a much better name than Wandle (after the River Wandle by any chance?) Wandle sounds a lot like Waddle, which isn't very flattering...

I could call him Will, but I know someone with a Cocker called William. I think giving my Spaniel basically the same name might be a little unfair!
