So though might as well move my grid. And didn't save it. But actually I think the UI is confusing. The save button is next to the name and I didn't want to save a named grid, I just wanted to move it for now. So didn't realise I needed to hit the Save button! Now, with hindsight, I could have easily checked after moving it to see if it had taken affect, so my fault totally. But anyone else think the UI is a bit misleading?
