Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

10km all off grid (I went conquersizing). I hope that doesn't scupper my multiplayer chances. I'll probaby be out of town all day on Saturday too.

ITG: you’ve explored over 130 squares already, should be enough to make it to the next round

Don't I need to hold some, roberton? I haven't even gone swimming yet (and pool is shut tomorrow).

Because there are so many people, the tie-break rule of using the explored count is especially important for the first round of WSW Multiplayer. 64 people have to make it through and the 64th person never actually owns a square.

Generally about 70 to 90 squares need to be explored (with none owned) to make it, although the last round the cut off was 129. Yes, that was the first one to start during lockdown in the UK :-)

All of this is taken from docs.google.com

I forget who compiled it, but they are a hero to the WSW cause.

I’m in a battle with Santis this week. My 12 week winning streak is under serious threat.

Hi Maclennane - Hope I can make it a good match! My calf went ping last week so didn't do my long run on Sunday. Went for a cautious run yesterday though and seems to be ok although everything is a bit tight. If I go awol it is because it went ping again and I'm off crying somewhere!!

Thanks DS. I know from Google Sheets his real name, but not his important name (aka Fetch username).

Lizzie: fingers crossed for no pinging!

USB: yes, that's a good start, but be mindful that in lockdown the numbers needed have been higher.

Serendippily is logging lots of walks and runs, threatening a comeback in my match...
