I may sound like sour grapes but I do find it incredibly hard to compete when you’re up against a cyclist. I can’t run the miles they can cycle and if I try to run much- too far - too often I get injured (last week’s leg issue was a clear warning). Think I need to just go back to playing obliviously behind the scenes.

Your runs will count for 2 versus their cycles counting for 1.
Cyclists have to contend with traffic and less flexibility in their route planning.
The bugger is those blasted triathletes who log both on the same day!

It very much depends on what their grid is like though. I'm currently rural and I think that if I was a cyclist most of my cycling would be off-grid. But if I was in a town with a lot more coverage I can see that a boring cycle up and down adjacent roads could cover a large area quite quickly.

I’m really not saying it’s easier just more chance to get more coverage but yes if there’s a lot off road (unless they mountain bike) I’d struggle even if I felt confident to get out in a bike as so much of my grid is fields and many are off limits.
I definitely played better when I did t know I was playing 😂
