I did the same thing when I was his age (fannying about on ice, not a bike) so I can't really say much :/ He has been trying to learn to bike downstairs. I told him he was daft but I'm not going to ban him either. I might buy him an integral helmet though. He is finishing the school day so I've not even seen it yet. Nurse phoned because he had sat for an hour with ice on it and it was still very swollen. Bugger.
