I went out and did 18km around the forest this morning, missing the rain and surviving the wild boar, and still not enough. Doesn't look like quite such a disastrous beating by McG at least!

Sure you haven't got another big bike ride or summat queued Sam? ;-)

What's all this midday stuff, 9pm here 😁. P6,W6, but then I'm just learning without no real strategy apart from getting out and exploring new areas every day.

sorry McG, been in meetings all morning, and whist I thought about a quick walk or bike ride, I don't think I could do enough in the time available to me.

That makes sense re timestamps DS. Makes a little more sense how people can have squares five minutes after midday. For some reason I assumed an entire run, start to finish, would have to be timestamped as post Monday noon to count for the new week. Not sure what made me think that though.

Think I am having my faith restored this week ;-) . Never set my alarm for a 5am run this morning as I think I’m safe so will keep my run for later *gingers crossed*

Sam - I did actually get out this morning on my bike but I thought I'd hang on logging it for later as I seem *fingers crossed* to be through in multiplayer.

Blowing a gale here and from the North. It was perishing cold when I was facing that way.

Well played stubiedoo, enjoyed that this week.

Jealous of where you get to run though.

Thanks for the competition Daddy Shark - it has been one of my best training weeks for many years and I wouldn’t have been motivated to do it without the knowledge you were out there somewhere. 65 miles, in 6 runs over the 7 days - I don’t think I’ve run like that since 2014’s VLM training!

My wife and I both woke up just before 4am, hot and slightly hungover. After 2 hours of trying to go back to sleep I finally gave up and went out to see if I could knock off the 61 square deficit you left me with last night!

I look forward to the re-match in however many weeks time.

Tense wait. I apologise. I should have run, just a couple of miles, after yesterdays hike, but roast chicken and a glass of red wine intervened, so I HAD to go out today......
