Thanks Groundhog for an awesome 1v1, and thanks everyone for a busy multi. Think I will be lucky to scrape the last 16 this week, legs wrote some cheques my body can't cash!

I’m up against someone who appears to have a straight run of wins. Must not mind. Must not break self

Lip Gloss I’m still laughing I don’t think ChrisHB will ever WSW again he did it once, hoovered up all the squares to become a grid master and retired: you were so unlucky

Glenn. I had no choice, last week my main aim was to stay in the multi, to do that, once I had looked at the overnight position, was to fiddle a 6 or 7 mile run,t hat covered a load of squares I had not visited that week. I just meant I just got my nose in front...

It's all good WS. My general view of the week was that you were working so hard on multiplayer that there was a risk of me blindsiding you in the 1v1. I could have gone out on the bike this morning but didn't, so it's my own fault.

Hi Sam - yes, we have met before - and you gave me a good kicking.

My records suggest that previous match was round about the end of last year when I was much more limited (by injury) in what I could do (my excuse and I'm sticking to it!). Aim for this week is to be competitive - and try not to stress too much about the multiplayer :)

No problem poppyH - to be honest, it gave me less to think about.

Being a mere man, I'm not capable of having too many thoughts in my head at one time, so your rest week meant I could concentrate on getting to the hard-to-reach parts of my grid (I reckon I might have between 5 and 10 more that I could realistically get without moving the grid) while also keeping an eye on the multimatch.

Though I didn't really hold out much hope that I could get through to the last 32, a well-placed run scraped me in this morning. I'm going to get smashed to bits this week.

Glenn, it was a good game, I had too have a proper look at the grid to make sure I gained enough squares, a pretty decent run all round really.
