Well done Oranj. I’m not surprised - our 1v1 grid is looking a bit one sided!

Hi, wabo! 👋 Sorry! Blame work. I do more early morning training runs when I’ve a lot on my mind. 😜 Resting tomorrow and (if it’s any help) the top right hand sector of my grid is inaccessible because of a water filled quarry and farmer’s fields. Don’t fancy a ‘ger orf my larnd’ moment.

VJ reckon you should at least pick up the stray squares.

@ITG I think it would only be polite ;-)

Cheers all. Of 208 squares I can get to (with my grid where it is), I've bagged 207 - the other 17 are in the Mini car factory, on farming land or out of bounds on a golf course. I could probably get them if I were to nudge my grid a little, but that would be a gamble too far right now.

I can only get 2 of them - and hopefully will on w/e long run. 6 remain inaccessible: 3 are farm fields and the other 3 are a rifle range

I was wondering where people place their home points in relation to their base?

Mine is to the left and slightly below the place where I begin and end my expeditions. This is to maximise the number of reachable squares, but also to ensure that the maximum number of those that are easily reachable are close to my base. To the top right of my square is an area of residential streets that make it easy to grab a good number of squares in a short run or walk. The bottom right includes my favourite areas to run and walk. The top left can be covered reasonably well but the bottom left is more problematic.

If this was battleships, where is your base point?
