Is there a mechanism to prevent a player from doing a training session on a Monday morning, uploading it for the current game because it might affect the outcome of that game then, when it doesn't, deleting it and uploading it again later for the new game? Or is that a legitimate tactic?

Ooh, I've not heard that one before. No, there isn't. Is a mechanism necessary?

It occurred to me yesterday as a possibility, and if it's occurred to me as a relatively WSW rookie it's probably been done.

Ooo Velociraptor, that would be low! Has that happened to you? Should you out and the culprit so we can pillory them?

If I'd known you could do that... I'd assumed that you wouldn't be able to do that - last week logged an 8.7 mile run on Monday morning and still lost, this week logged a 7.7 mile run and won. Definitely not cricket

Must say I have always been a little suspicious about the amount of people who for some reason on a monday are only able to upload their morning activities at 12.01pm, but can upload fine the rest of the week... It just feels a bit cynical to me.

There is nothing wrong with that. If you believe you have won your game, upload it after 12.00, if you believe you have lost it, upload after 12.00.
Yesterday I ran at 11.00, I can If I like, thinking I needed to upload one more run to win my current game, so I uploaded it straight away, as it turned I needn't have, c'est La Vie.

WS - that’s nit quite what Vrap is suggesting. The advantage is in using that run before 12, then deleting it and uploading again after 12.

Fetch, can you not use the timestamp of the run in the activity file, ie if you finished before 12:00 it can only count as before the cut off? Or does that just cause issue as you don't know the timezone of the run?
