I'm loving lockdown donor sessions. In and out in about 40 mins, fastest ever.
Mint club and a two-pack of Tuc, if you're asking.

I wasn't able to donate for a few years for medical reasons, one after the other, so know the frustration. Glad to be able to do my bit.
The lady vampire this time explained that my previous 2 attempts in the last couple of months were cancelled due to high stock levels because of lock down... But they were increasing apps again.
I cycled yesterday, wow couldn't believe the difference in everything! About to go out for a gentle plod, not expecting great things (never do haha) just hoping to avoid the rain! Thanks for all the great advice everyone, it's so much appreciated xx

I was excited and absolutely terrified - really odd feeling, I don't like needles, at all, and I struggle with the finger prick Iron test massively... and yet I do it anyway! Stupid brain!
Ran this morning and felt good again, so seems to take me about 3 days to recover, good to know for next time.
