Bob!
Successful donation, that's a relief!

Bran flakes, spinach and iron tablets is the way forward!

Bob!
I've been crumbling them up as an addition to my granola recently to get the additional iron, and using spinach in Chilli, casseroles, pasta bakes...

Earlier this evening. I was almost finished before the nurse asked if I was feeling ok and if I wanted to stop, which is quite an improvement on previous occasions. Possibly only as the blood came out a bit quicker this time. Getting on two hours between arrival and departure. As I left, people were being turned away as they were over their quota. I'm not feeling great, tbh.

(A parkrun family appeared immediately behind me in the queue, so at least I had a blether as I waited.)

Fizz :-)
And I’ve just found out I’m too light to be a platelet donor. First time in my life I’ve ever been too light for something :-(

Cool. Wish we had that in Scotland. We don't find our where ours went. We're getting a website, eventually, I'm told. Will be nice to login and see when last donation was etc.

My next one will be early May after back from Boston marathon. :-) G

Last Thursday. Bit of a phaff getting unbarred and ended up with a red card for no hot drinks as a newbie (returning donater). They barred me after vlm two years back so treated as new doner.

Other odditie there was no next session at the normal interval as they are not returning until summer. Odd in a town of 95,000. Amused by the new exercise leaflet while donationing, buttock clenching and leg crossing. Even recognised the guy in the picture on the leaflet.
