Last night actually - a young man running towards me in peeing rain, t-shirt and shorts, big lad, maybe a rugby player. Thought I might get a wave or grunt at best (I always wave or say hi). "A very good evening to you!" He declared loudly with head held high, before I had even readied my wave. "And a good evening to you too!" I replied.
I love folk who smile while running in the rain. G
