When I was leaving the house for my evening run, one of the girls on our road came up to me with a homemade paper box full of jokes and asked me to read her the set-up as part of a game she was playing.
I can't even remember what it was now. (Definitely a "kid joke", though.)
Also, someone's baby granddaughter showed up at the home this morning. Her face lit up when I took off my glasses. Perhaps she thought I was offering them to her for sporting purposes

Charlotte's reasoning for not wanting to go to church tomorrow for the harvest service. She validly pointed out that if there was a God there'd only be 1 family as we'd all be descended from Adam and Eve. She had another reason too, equally valid but I can't remember it.

Fragile Do Not Bend
It had been annoying me that one of my running socks had vanished a few months ago. Today I was changing the bed and got a clean sheet out - and the sock fell out of the sheet.
