Another story from 'The Champion', Crosby & Litherland edition. A family, rescued by RNLI lifeguards from sinking sands on Crosby beach in summer 2020, returned to Merseyside to thank their rescuers with presents.

Nice stories both, spittle.

I got back on the bike trainer after illness and cycled up a virtual mountain. I finished after thinking I would bail out at several points. As a reward I had leftovers for dinner - turkey and smoked salmon club sandwich, which was surprisingly delicious, washed down with homemade ale.

Garmin badge for training on NYD. Apparently I can only be awarded this 250 times.

How long does Garmin think I'm going to live for.

Ooooh, I didn't get a new badge but maybe because my "run" with hungover teen was so slow it didn't register as exercise.

I had a go on Ring Fit on the Nintendo Switch for the first time in ages. Played a mini game I hadn't played before - the Squattery Wheel. You have to do squats to move up and down your tower of clay, compressing the ring to sculpt the ins and outs of the pot. Ridiculous. The curtains in the lounge weren't closed, but it was dark and I live in a cul-de-sac, so I'm hoping no-one saw me doing such shenanigans. :-O
