I had a really nice lunch with one of the senior members of my team today where he had come prepared with ideas for how he could make my job more interesting for me and ways he could help my career development.
I had basically jumped at the opportunity to temporarily leave the team to help with the covid response because I wasn't enjoying my role and was getting a bit stressed at the thought of going back to it, so it was a lovely surprise.
