Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What minor disaster has befallen you today?

Having decided to do something about a wobbly path I made some years ago (slabs not perfectly balanced on breeze blocks) I lifted some of the slabs and found the spaces contained loads of frogs. Then I remembered I'd created the holes as a potential place for frogs to spend their time in.

I appear to have laundered a paper hanky in the last load of washing I did. But at least it wasn't a fully loaded fountain pen.

We used the washing machine for the first time in our brand new utility room:

Only minor as the plumber who'd installed it was round within half an hour, it was a quick fix and the floor is vinyl click so waterproof.

Was a bit alarming at the time though

I’m glad that it wasn’t too serious, but I think that you might need slightly larger sponge to mop all that water up 😉

:-0 :-) I shouldn't laugh, but having once been greeted by a Labrador with a newly planted and quite expensive shrub in her mouth, I know the feeling!

You're going to need a bigger sponge.

Did a huge online Tesco shop over the weekend for 2 families to be delivered this morning for us to take to Centreparcs with us. At 7.30 this morning, Tesco emailed to say that the order had been cancelled for technical reasons! WTAF??!
