Woke to the sound of a retching dog. Lovely first job of the day.

Yesterday I might have said, "I've got access to a Nespresso machine but all the mugs are too tall for it. And I bought capsules specially."

Today, I found cups that fit. And discovered that the Nespresso machine doesn't work, only after destroying a capsule in it.

A sharp knife and a small cafetiere came to the rescue. The coffee wasn't very nice but I drank it anyway. So all's well etc.

Raining every time I thought I could do something outdoors after a period of glorious sunshine to persuade me to be productive.

Is just about to occur. Lunchtime, in car, started pouring down. In a few seconds, I will be getting very wet.

Was having a walk earlier on and didn't notice the nettles that had grown across the steps I was going up. I have rather nettled legs.

Failing to press 'start' on my Garmin. (It was only just over a mile bike ride but my cycling is so far behind the challenge that I need every mile I can get.)
