Would you like to borrow my leaf blower LG?

There are certain people in this parish who wouldn’t be very happy to know that you use a leaf blower LazyDaisy

I don't doubt it ER; for over thirty years I have diligently swept up all leaves using a broom and plastic 'shovel-hands'. But I'm afraid I really do have better things to do with my time and tbh, I don't care what other people think of such tools. Perhaps they'd like to come and sweep up for me?

ION, my Garmin failed to record my nearly three mile dog walk this morning. No wonder I'm so behind on my walking target.

This was a few days ago.

But actually the minor disaster of today seems to be that I've managed to upload a picture of a broken cat litter scoop twice. Now I look like a weirdo.

The girl in charge of our team kit didn't bring it for our away game.

Go and see them but explain things are tight & gifts aren’t possible. They’ll understand.

And maybe give them a heads up, say sorry, I can’t get you anything, so just don’t get me anything and we’re all square.
Tough situation though.
