Hiya
Riggsy - good time/run management yesterday!
Glad the set went well Wabo
Ale - 5 min reps are always good Ale, and big progress after the lay off
Peter - that's again solid progress, hope the 12 tomorrow goes well
Sorry to hear about sleep woes - any chance of an afternoon nap?

What - easy lunchtime miles / coaching village lot tonight
Why - recovery / routine
last rest - 14/09
last hard - last night : 5x 1k reps (road) off 200 recovery
Reasonably consistent but boy did that feel hard...
I think I even suggested I might do a marathon in the spring , must have lost my marbles somewhere...

lyric - yes

As you know, I can't get much shorter, in answer to your question, @PeterFay!

Currently having a break from cross training in the garden; quite warm and sunny now after early morning drizzle.

Hi all,

Sorry been a bit absent over the last few days, mental health has been a master again.

Still have had two good days now on the Exercise bike with 43:15 (11m) yesterday and 36:30 (9.25m) today.

Had therapy (counselling) and treatment to left hand yesterday and have doctors review later. I want to turn the corner, so hopefully will be able to.

Take care and much love and blessings x

@alehouse : peaking?? Goodness me!
@riggys99 : creative solution to get the miles in!
@ElspethF : for that tarte tatin, all that matters to me is the taste. If it looks messy (like when the cake box fell over that one time), we now call it puzzle cake and serve it all the same!
@Velociraptor : ugh- restless legs! Drinking more water works for me in that case, not sure it does for other people.
@Dustin : nice session, but short recoveries!
@RFJ : sorry to hear you've not felt well. Even if you're not in the thread, I still think of you and wish you well, and am pretty sure the others here do too xx

Lyrics: nope
What: 5.11M with 1K, 2K, 2x1k intervals off 400m recovery.
Why: Schedule said so, sounded like a good idea
Last hard: that was
Last rest: Saturday

A good little session, wondering why I felt a bit of muscle fatigue in the legs. I looked at my splits when I got back and yeah... I was fast enough for that to happen. Running fast feels good, so I enjoy it when it happens.

About This Thread

Maintained by HazelnutCH
Each day someone sets some song lyrics, often on a particular theme, eg colours, numbers, running, etc. Others then say whether they know the song or not, but DO NOT say what the song is: the answer is revealed the next day.

Current theme: COLOURS

Contributors then say
What their training will be
Why they are doing it

Some also say
Last hard
Last rest

Plus of course general comments about the weather, other people’s training or races…illness or injuries!

Feel free to join us and why not set some lyrics once you get the hang of the thread?
