The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

I hope to be there most of the day from early on as well.
Don't make me a team captain though - I'd go more power crazy than Nellers.
I might chip off at some point during the day though as I expect to have two tickets for the grandstand on the mall.

Hello! Have joined as a supporter for the third year running :-) Without Hendo this time though as he'll be on the other side!

Love Fetchpoint. Last year I remember having really sore arms the next day and not knowing why, until I realised it was from leaning on the barriers all day! The sore throat was more obvious to work out :-)

Looking into options for travel, what time will it all start? I seem to remember the race starts about 9.30 but obv it will take a while for people to start to arrive at Fetchpoint.

Some fetchies are here to support specific people. They'll start to filter away once their runner is through. The rest of us will stick around until the flood slows to a trickle; at which point some of the folks who have been there since dawn will start to head off. We will always make sure that there are enough people there until every one of our runners has been accounted for.
