Not true Hendo. I seem to recall that HOD and I were not Fetched up last year and we had no problem being spotted at the Fetchpoint.

I am not convinced Stander. You and HOD with respect do stand out a little ;-) If you are a well known fetchie and not wearing a fetch top you do run a risk of not being spotted IMHO. I have been to fetchpoint and I know how manic it gets when people are coming in for supplies and the organisation it takes. If your wearing a fetch top it makes life so much easier for the supporters to spot you and to cheer you on :-)

I'd rather you jumped around a bit and we spotted you than that you assumed we'd see you and we didn't.

Still got some spots free for people wanting to be team captains. You'll get points. And you know what points mean.

I'm not entirely sure how battered my head will still be after Brighton but if you're desperate for team captains I don't mind stepping up :)

I did Brighton last year followed by Fetchpoint the week after. My feet were truly battered and even more so when my 6 yo jumped off the mini set of steps that I brought for her to stand on, straight onto my very damaged right toe, which literally exploded in my boot... which was nice.

I think the reason for us being spotted might have been to do with out outfits. Just a random guess though. :)

I personally would always recommend a fetch top and/or jumping around like a loony. And as most of us are loons that isn't so difficult.

Some fetchies are here to support specific people. They'll start to filter away once their runner is through. The rest of us will stick around until the flood slows to a trickle; at which point some of the folks who have been there since dawn will start to head off. We will always make sure that there are enough people there until every one of our runners has been accounted for.
