Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) Nov 2019 7:40am, 11 Nov 2019 29,144 posts	0 Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) Hi, just popping in to say that I am trying vegan diet this month, hasn’t been totally successful so far, it’s been ok apart from eating out this weekend, Saturday the only option had chilli, while I like chilli it has to be mild or I get stomach issues, I had to settle for veggie and yesterday I was visiting family and wimped out of notifying Sis before we arrived, so again veggie lunch. I have been semi vegan for most of this year and believe it’s the obvious next step for me.

It may be an idea to have something you can bring with you when visiting family, if that's not an issue. Could even be something to share, if you are feeling that adventurous. Depending on the area it can be difficult eating out. This last weekend I opted for beetroot hummus and rice crackers from a supermarket! lol

I think the most difficult thing for us, particularly Paul (aka Running on the Spot) is cheese, especially in Spain. Also, on the two occasions I've tried a vegan diet before I've ended up seriously craving eggs after about a week. Any ideas on overcoming either of these issues?
