Thanks AntClark. This looks good and most of the products are ones I've not tried, so it's a good sampler. Might give it a go. By the way, I had a look on your site and the list of gels that you have under the "vegan" section does not include all of the ones that you seem to stock. It can be a minefield but tend to use gels Torq, Gu and Clif Shots. guenergy.com torqfitness.co.uk Torq lists gels as being suitable for vegans |

Has anyone got a recipe for vegan pate that doesn't have mushrooms in it?

Not sure if you got your answer Mrs Jigs but I’d be interested if you did. I decided to try to go none meat when my daughter was born in 99, it was more for ease of cooking at home as my wife was veggie. I originally said 1 month and the habit has just stuck, I have had a couple of dalliances with meat again but it just doesn’t feel right now. After a few months of reducing dairy Ive now decided to try a vegan diet for a month and see how it effects me. Is this really a suitable period to gain benefits and make a decision on a longer term diet or would it ideally require longer? |

I found a lentil and sweet potato recipe Joopsy, I will post a link when I am home (currently being driven along the M4) I am not vegetarian but have cut down on meat quite a bit in 2017, planning on trying to go majority meat free in 2018, really would like to give it up altogether but don't want to set myself up to fail. |

One month is a good period of time to give it a try Joopsy. The main thing is it involves quite a learning curve for most people. There is Veganuary going on at the moment which should be very helpful as a source of info.
