Me Too! Me Too! (FWIW, I strongly suspect that all of those figures are overestimated. It's remarkable how many "steps" one can collect with a few hours clapping as the London Marathon runs by...) |

I have never counted steps but always been curious how many I clock up in a day's gardening! Just cutting my grass is 2.5 kms on my garmin with the new mower. It was just over 5 with the old mower... So, does Garmin calculate these steps for you when you upload your exercise? If so, I can where my "new" wrist Garmin while gardening next week and find out... |

I think it depends on your Garmin, mine is always tracking steps even if I am not tracking/got GPS on
