um
What do you count as 'the first run logged on Fetch' ? I don't know when I joined, but I have logged (ie auto imported Garmin files) from some point. I have retrospectively loaded historic data from when I got a Garmin, sometime in 2008. And I have loaded monthly pre GPS logged run totals from 2000.

Thank you - that'll be a 'No' from me then - a one off is an idea I can support as a novelty but simply stockpiling more and more badges just for being here a while/sticking around is, for me, a step too far. And it's not just this suggestion - I'd feel the same about having the 'run on your birthday' or other special occasions badges duplicating annually too. Sorry for being a miserable git. I'm joining CumriAndy's campaign against badge inflation. Are you with us comrades?! 😉

Ahh well, it was just a suggestion; it's only a bit of fun, after all.

I like a novelty badge and (full disclosure) I have no idea, without checking, when my first logged run was or how many times I’ve run on the anniversary. I think I would be in the ‘meh’ camp for an annual badge (neither heavily for or against) but, in general, I’m not in favour of lots of backdated badges. Unavoidable really with the cycle and swim total mileage badges but it did cause some people a catastrophic plunge down the league table. Full disclosure again, I was one of them but I rationalised that it felt fair for all activities to be equally treated and I had probably done disproportionately well by only running & walking so no objection to that. However it does seem fairer in most cases to offer a reward for future efforts than for past activity.

… and a good point Sigh, it is just a bit of fun. I keep telling myself that in my regular over-competitive moments 😂

It is - on that point we absolutely agree
And I'm only one dissenting voice. There may be many more with a differing opinion - which is also fine with me.

A single badge for run-versary would be good, but I could also live without it!!

Sushi.
I think other 'special date' badges are only awarded once like birthday, Fetch independence day etc.
I'm not sure about repetitive badges.
No-one will ever catch Oranj as it is!!!! 🤣
Not competitive, really? Are you sure?😉😉

I wonder if there will be a few badges for the number of cafes you add to the Points of Interest map? That would be similar to adding OW swim locations.
