I did 400m on a track. I got up to speed and then used pace on my watch to keep constant.

With a treddie, you need to use a Speed sensor. If you are getting pace from only the accelerometer on the watch and arm swing it wonât be accurate enough I think.

I've managed 97% from road running and that includes starting my watch from a walking start and stopping as I reach my stop point.

I tried it with a Garmin footpod which his generally seemed reasonably accurate for pace.

Right, so you need something other than the watch to do this on a treadmill. I'd assumed the pacing only worked for GPS runs, hence really surprised about the treadmill! If I used a treadmill I'd just be logging the time and distance, wouldn't know the pace. Makes a bit more sense now you are talking about foodpods and whatnot. Thanks |

PS seeing as you're talking about pacing, I got the 96% one but not 97%... yet. In my mind, I feel like you have to run super fast, but actually no it's evenness not speed. |

I think you stand more chance of a higher % running slower as there's a bigger window of variance.
