He's been constantly one of the front runners too. Either he's heading for a dead end or he's going to have to go through a Mersey Tunnel. And then north presumably.

I wonder if he does. I suspect you're right with that's the most reasonable direction.

I noticed previous results had some kind of efficiency rating for route choice.

On way home drove along a section of the A5 north of Dunstable and saw a few of the runners. I hadn't noticed before, but that section does have a surprising amount of pavement - although constant traffic right next to you all the time.

Great running Sam Jelfs. Somehow running through Cambridge on a Saturday night seems more attractive than London.

I seem to remember that the pairs race involves being attached by a very short tether. If I'm thinking of the right race.

I think there's a pairs and a chained race, so that might be the latter of those two options. I think the chained pairs get longer to enjoy the pain. 36 hours perhaps?
