Thanks, FR. That's my goal race for next year. No ballots, I think.

Mr. K.
Nice one about the NDW50 - I might get out on the trials to support that day then :-)

Summer Green Man Ultra coming up in a fortnight for me, although i am doing the Green Boy 30 miler this time rather than the full 45. Any other Fetchies in?

Entered the shorter version as I have had issues (health and Injury) the last few times on the full and I know i can 'blag' the shorter version if the brown stuff hits the whirly object again

Looking to you experienced ultra athletes for some advice .....

I have my first ultra - Hardmoors Princess Challenge in 2 weeks time.

My last long run was only 13 mile at beginning of July before that I have done 3 marathons this year Feb, March and May.

I’ve not ran for 2 weeks as I had a cyst removed, and to be honest not a great deal for about 4 week prior to that I just completely lost the plot and have been feeling very run down. If nothing else my legs should be rested.

I am figuring I will run what I can, walk where I have to and I’ll finish hopefully in one piece and smiling.

If anyone has any more practical tips I assure they they would be gratefully received. TIA
