I like my races to be finished within 35 hours. I think I'd get fed up after that!

"To celebrate 10 years of Cockbain Events we are planning a one off non-stop race between (and including) all three peaks in summer 2022 (likely June). Places will be limited. Previous Cockbain Events runners will have priority. Entrants must have vast ultra experience with at least three one hundred milers the bare minimum qualifier for application.
Entry will likely include several indoor checkpoints.
Tracking
Medal
T-shirt
Mountain guide
Daytime snacks/support

One hot meal per day (eg pasta)
More TBA
If you would like to be considered (serious applicants only) then please email cockbainevents@outlook.com with subject title 3 Peaks, your name and your qualifiers.
We will get back to you further down the line when we have more details."

I am kind of tempted...

I've not signed up to run Binks' race, but am hosting the second checkpoint at my house. It will be interesting to see how the handicapping works out.

As long as people don't blag the handicapping it is a fantastic idea. We run the club 10k that way and instead of the finish ranging from 34 - 114 minutes, everybody finishes within 10 minutes.

I've signed up, and one of my colleagues might be joining me. My last ultra had ten times the ascent so I hope he doesn't pay too much attention to that.

That's the difficuly on judging times, somebody like flanker would vary little from flat to hilly, but others are less mountain goat and their times would be vastly different.

Yup. I’ve given him a 55 and a 50 with 2k and 1k ascent, and a flat road marathon. I think 6h would be reasonable.
