Currently cleaning.

And we're back on the market.
Am feeling surprisingly ok. Better to be looking for a decent buyer than dancing to the tune of a complete idiot.

Ready to exchange on both purchase and sale. Buyer insists we complete by Thursday 8th but doesn’t seem to understand she needs to agree to a date and it has to be one we can get a removal company for.

Our seller is fine with any date. I’m getting hot and bothered, and trying not to lose any more of my rapidly greying hair! Won’t move next time until I retire! I’ve jokingly said to my wife!

We have a proposed date but need to make sure we can get removal people. This all assumes queries can be dealt with.

It’s a nightmare isn’t it? Removals firms tell you to give them plenty of notice and to pay a deposit to secure your booking, but you can’t book until you have a completion date and you don’t really have a completion date until you exchange!

This time last year we were in the frantic trying to book a removal firm whilst not having an exchange/completion date. Our buyers were threatening to pull out if we didn't set a date but the council were dragging their feet and took 6 weeks to get the searches back on the house we were buying. which was the delay,. In the end we confirmed the removal time to our movers at 5pm on Monday and moved 8am Wednesday. Was all a bit manic. I am not planning to move again unless forced to. It was just too stressful. We have now been in the house almost a year and thankfully very happy there and pleased we made the move.

Well we moved. I'm never doing that again.

Good luck to anyone still on here.
