I recently tried to buy a lovely new Liv bike but the bike shop man said I was too big😭 and steered me towards the Giant bikes instead. I did buy a gorgeous new bike but the Liv colours were prettier.

I have a Liv, it is very pretty - am I'm so pleased that they're taking womens cycling seriously and that I could get a XXS frame size :-o :-)

I also have a Liv in extra-tiny, she is a thing of great beauty.

It is a pity and I am such a crap cyclist as I really don't do her justice.

My first new bike was a royal blue Tomahawk I loved that bike shame I wrapped it around a Ford Escort!

I did 4 x 400m intervals last night a bit quicker than Gobi did 800m race for my efforts I got a huge blood blister on the inside of my big toe, I foolishly ran tonight it's a little tender now.

Tomahawk was the one that looked just like a Chopper, yes?

We had one between me & my brothers when we first came back from abroad. I remember cycling furiously along the road, giving one twin a backie while the other held on to the rear bar for dear life, praying he didn’t trip over his roller skates (and we hadn’t even seen Rollerball at the time!!). Happy days. :)

I'm not aware of Liv bikes but my Trek Silque fits me (5'2") perfectly.
