Hee hee.
I've been for a run. I appear to still be making heavy weather of it. Not sure why.

Good evening, another day without training passes, fingers crossed for gym tomorrow, though if I recall correctly I may be moderately busy with actual work.
I assume in order to win something from the advent calendar you have to nominate somebody for motm, either way I'm honored and I'll try and think of something motivational tomorrow.

Race 3 of my very short CX season was a trip to Wessex League, more bad luck wasn't enough to hide my poor skills in real CX conditions. I just couldn't cope well enough in the real mud with the front moving around the way it did. There were no crashes but it was close.
Although it has been fun I have decided to end my season at this point with a view to regrouping and racing cross on 2019.
I had hoped to ride the last National round and maybe Nationals but I don't have the time to train specifically and although fit I am too far from where I need to be skill wise.
Sometimes you need to be honest with yourself.
Oh I have been running

Sounds tough Gobi, your call sounds the right one though. Are there local events you can ride this season to work on skills?
I have 22 emails from someone called Julia titled 'lick me' - maybe the day won't be so bad after all....;-)
I am planning, plotting and feeling a little readier to commence training.
Pondering a nibble at the full Outlaw (end JUly).
Definitely in so far:
E2/25 - April E2/50 - May Tour of Cambs Chrono E2/100 - June Tenby Long Course - July National 12hr TT - August Ironman Wales - September
Next w/e will be a test w/e, and we'll get cracking with some endurance base from Monday 17th.

I suggest getting a lighting conductor and an anchor to stop you getting blown away as well, Sweetie.

I have been for a swim in an actual swimming pool. It was very laboured, as if I'd never swum front crawl in my life before. I suppose it's been nearly six months since I set foot in a pool so it's been a long while and my muscle memory has just forgotten what to do
