An interesting observation Gobi, you are wise indeed.
My heart is for racing, my head is in agreement with your voice of reason, hence the wavering I guess.
I think Tro makes some excellent points though, it is surprising what you can pull out of the bag on race day (assuming the training is in place.) I also take on board the idea of not throwing time away uncessarily in transition, etc.
I hope to prove you wrong in September but genuinely no offence taken if you say 'I told you so' at a later date.

Bonsoir, bonsoir tour-le-monde. J’ai de retour.
And, just in time to join in, after a full-on long weekend of camping I have a new lanyard.

It is better to try and fail than not to try at all.
Sweetie, it's not like you've not put the hard hours in. Go for it. And enjoy the experience whether you suceed or fail.

You’ll need a lanyard.
Which reminds me. The bus seems to have been repaired, which is nice.

Coulson’s bus. The one Fury gave him, remember? We went through this last week.
See header for details.

Fenners - no not isn't if you know you will fail which is the point / angle I have been aiming at with Sweetie.
Let me demonstrate with my impending death
This year i shall swim the English channel, if someone can arrange rescue within 2500 metres of the start(about 2hrs) hopefully I would only fail and not drown.
Mantras can be great but also very dangerous.
Apologies to all on the thread for the serious and coach like comments of my last few posts.
I promise my next post will be a return to triviality.
