Lyrics:

I was following the pack, all swallowed in their coats
With scarves of red tied 'round their throats
To keep their little heads from falling in the snow
And I turned 'round and there you go
And Michael, you would fall and turn the white snow red

What: walks and maybe a little run

Last hard: finishing my Christmas pudding with lumpy ‘brandy custard’ yesterday while remaining polite

Hiya
Seems I was MIA over the weekend, but a quick read back suggests congratulations to Wabo on the 2 year streak and Ale for bagging a positive 5k.
Plenty of decent park running and continued training elsewhere too!

Did my first longish run in what seems like a while on Saturday - ticked the 16m box. Legs felt it the last couple but pleased to have chalked that off.
Yesterday was round 3 of the Sunday XC league. Planned to run as dictated by legs. Made it round, solid if unspectacular but another 7.5miles for the bank.
Today - easy slow recovery

Why - legs battered
last rest - 28/11
last hard - the weekend
lyric - no idea

What: easy treadmill jog, swim. A few weights, maybe.

Why: Have you seen that weather :-o ⛈️ ? Also, yesterday.

Last hard: 10K race yesterday (made that 18th last position my own!).

Lyrics: Straight away.

A bit after it came out, I went to see a band called Great Lake Swimmers and thought "they must curse [band name] for hitting big with that and taking up the slot for that kind of thing".

Lyrics, short of!
Very wet! Got soaked going to supermarket, dried off for a bit and ran 7 very wet miles, still it's done before the next high winds hit! Bit of sleet too.
