just annoyed with myself drank too much Sunday too which was totally mother induced Feel like I am very lack lustre just now which is annoying as I have just asked Gobi to kick my arse into Outlaw shape Not sure if it's virus/WFH fatigue or mother or what but really grumpy and fed up (refuses to blame hormones)

Any one of those things on its own is enough to cause fatigue and grumpiness (mothers, who'd have em, eh?), Pix, with all of them together it'd be more remarkable if you didn't have hate the world and hide under a blanket with the biscuits days.
If the annoyance can help motivate you to get back out/on then that's something, at least

Might a visit to the TBOGUA thread for November's challenge be an option, Pix?

Yeah - what V-rap and now Rae say, Pixie.
You've had one -entirely understandable - 'off' weekend. One DAY more like: 'drank too much Sunday too which was totally mother induced'. Don;t lose sight of the bigger picture. You've accomplished/got through/ticked off DONE so much this month (and last month) that - and the future - are what's important.
Everyone is allowed to moan where applicable!
Breathe - and carry on. xxxxx

TBOGUA is a brilliant thread - I bigged it up in September and will do so again. They do cutting down as well as giving up! Totally non judgemental and very supportive.

I don't actually drink much - Friday Sat Sun nights only and normally just a bottle of wine *so 2 glasses* with meal but I was heavy handed with my Gin (Orange and cocoa which is amazing!) on Sunday I went 16 weeks without when I was a Super Sixer for VLM in 2010 and have been thinking about doing the same for Outlaw

Rest is essential innit. Rest/active recovery is stage 2 in the supercompensation model/conceptualisation of training. Stage 1 - application of training stress leading to fatigue/deterioration in performance due to he stressor. Stage 2 - rest/active recovery where the body returns energy levels & performance to pre training baseline, homeostasis stage Stage 3 - rebound stage where adaptation to above pre training levels occur, it’s not just physiological but psychological & technical adaptations occur too. Stage 4 - loss of supercompensation effect, reversion to pre training levels if further stimulus is not applied.
