Actually - Husbando was probably sensible to insist on walking at night - it is properly dark here and he has a tendency to misstep!

Glad you have recovered from your fall.

Well done MrsB.

RFJ, glad to hear that there was no apparent damage after yesterday's fall.

I did a 7 mile recovery run this morning on roads. It was very muggy. I saw eight other runners, all running towards me. I very seldom see any ahead of me that I can try to catch.

I ran up a local hill last night to see the sun set since it was the solstice. We normally make it a club run, since we couldn't this year I went myself. It was a lovely evening, beautiful sky 🙂.

Hello slowblonde, you're doing some cracking milage.
I'm slowly creeping up my mileage and won't increase it much more except to start playing leap frog with Mark :-)

Thanks FF. Funny I'm a doctor so initially cranked up the milage at the start of the pandemic in case work went mental or I got sick myself. Thankfully work hasn't been too bad (in NI) and haven't been sick so far and just seemed to be able to keep the mileage up.

The #GVRAT1000k also keeps making me do runs on days I usually wouldn't. It's been great for the motivation in the absence of races. My Dublin Marathon training plan (one of my favourite races) was due to start today 😞
