Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ah, marathon training would soon crank the miles up.
The Boston UK marathon is still looking at going ahead in September but adjustments will be made to the start area and probably staggered starts.

Superb photo Lesley, taking time to see such stuff adds to any running experience (unless you're racing!)
Yeah, good running slowblonde, glad you've been able to grab the extra miles.

You are well on the way to 1000 miles slowblonde, and I wouldn't be surprised if you reached 2000 by the end of the year.

I ran 11 miles in the forest this morning with the Monday Club, and have, at last moved off 10th place on the leaderboard, where I have been stuck for the last few weeks.

Thanks folks. Not a chance of reaching 2000 miles this year but would love to get at least 100 miles a month for the first time ever!

5 treadmill interval miles today. Getting to be a bit of a wuss about going out in the rain these days 🙈

Oh ugh! Treadmill is bad enough ( for me anyway, some folks are ok with it of course) but intervals too! Well done slow blonde.Too heavy duty for this old codger!
Impressive stuff hillstrider.. I'm way way off being able to run double figure miles but trust in my consistency to knock out 100 a month.
A sluggish 5k in rapidly increasing morning temperature.

Steve, I can't get on with treadmills at all!

I walked 3.5 miles this morning to the chemist and back, to buy a pack of face masks. I'm assuming that they will be mandatory when the hairdressers reopen.

I am trying to get my head around how you can have your haircut while wearing a mask!
