Evening all mileage kickstarted with a 7.5m double run tonight. It was tempting to skip it but as always so glad I went for it. Hoping to be out with GeordieMum tomorrow and I might venture to parkrun on Saturday too.

Hope you’re all ok. Don’t forget to set your mileage target as fetch reverts then to 0 each year now.

Well done GG on making a good start to the year. I also made a start to the year this morning, by doing a very easy-paced 6 miles, the first half with my wife and the second half solo. I may even do the local parkrun this Saturday too.

Another 7.5 this morning, 3.5 with Geordiemum. Struggled with the last couple it was uphill and a cold headwind.

I have loved being part of this gang in 2019 but I know I won't be running as much in 2020 as I need to get some bike miles in and want to go back to triathlon. So I've officially set my run target at 400 miles. But I'll keep hanging around this thread :-)

I'm still looking at races. My cycle challenge and holiday means May is out. Then I'm looking at a triathlon early in July and maybe anther after that.

I'm thinking of putting myself in the ballot for GNR again as it's still one of the easiest half marathons for me to do, but really I ought to expand my horizons a bit and I'd prefer to do a longer race later in the year.

Hi everyone, am determined to give this another go this year after an epic fail last year!

Have realised its 10 years since I did any 'proper' consistent running - here was me thinking it was about 2-3 years! So I have a plan, and a goal (which I may share at some point) and have decided it is time to start hanging around Fetch again, as that always makes me want to run.

*EDIT* in the current situation we are not entering races but I think we can still log any plans we may have over the coming months, whether it is learning a new skill, ticking jobs off a list, moving house(!), doing alternative exercise, aiming for training hours instead of miles, writing to family & friends, finding inventive ways to be together virtually or even entering virus races please fill in the planner and I’ll update this thread and keep our little social group going to share our goals.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.
