That's so awful for your friend LG. I hope he's unhappy and I hope she has changed the locks.

I'm in a sparkly jumper, the prep for tonight's meal is all done, I don't *think* I've forgotten anything, so it just remains for me to hope everyone's Christmas is just as you'd like it to be! [Apart from your friend's ex, LG - I hope he realises that even if the relationship was over, he's behaved in a very shitty way and feels a great deal of remorse. ] |

Work done, fibreoptic tree on, biscuits open. Time for a Baileys? Meant to be making a pasta bake later but am really struggling to be arsed. How long can one last on biscuits, mince pies, and Baileys? |

This has never been a good time of year for me and this year I have chosen to spend the day by myself. Will go to parkrun then do whatever the heck I want when I want. Might go for a dip in the sea, might go for a walk in the woods. No idea yet and will just go with whatever the mood takes me.

Several weeks I think JamieKai. Is it ever too early for Baileys? Working tomorrow - through choice - will hopefully help someone else through the day. Remember that not everyone's Xmas is as happy as it looks and if you're struggling it's ok to reach out, yes, even tomorrow, we'll all be there. everymindatwork.com |

Sharing this in case it's helpful to anyone: skintchef.co.uk (My clubmate was getting a bit stressed at our social run last night as she was not looking forward to spending an hour mashing swede. She was delighted when I told her you could do it in the microwave!) |

It's never too early for a Bailey's! Presents are wrapped, just working up to make the traditional Christmas Eve leek and potato soup for dinner. |

I felt very down about Christmas yesterday, I miss mum and dad most at Christmas, 2nd Christmas without them 😞 However, my lovely cheery run and all the happy people cheered me up this morning. There's the annual club Christmas run to look forward to tomorrow morning as well and the rest of the day will basically take care of itself I imagine. Happy Christmas everyone |
