There was some talk about a winter open water swimming badge I thought. And it was mentioned that Southern Hemisphere has different seasons. Maybe this is just a Jan badge. I did swim in winter here (Australia) to get the ocho. Maybe it was talk of a winter ocho instead of specifically winter swim. The mind wanders.

Got a new badges today. It's getting to be hard and somewhat monotonous work running the same route every day, but that's what it takes on this game

Me too! Just trudged to work and council has not cleared the pavements - but helpfully cleared the roads and flung all the snow om the sidewalks! We have had well over a metre since Friday and even I am doubting the planned run later.

I finally got around to going for and getting the four corners badge - it needed a grid move to do it.
I think 150 should be doable where the grid is now - though I need to check I didn't get it a while back when I was playing this, before I go chasing it!

I think that’s as far as I can go with WSW squares badges, 200 might be possible but it would take a lot of careful planning and probably involve printing off a map and making some sort of grid overlay out of a clear acetate sheet. I think that would be bordering on obsessive :)

FDNB - or you could go to Routes / Plot A New Route and hit the WSW button ... :-)

Frag have you looked at the Routes page and tried to add your own route. You can overlay the WSW grid on your local area. I found it useful to plan a route, though you have to count your own squares.

But that would only compare a route to where your WSW is now and not where it could be following a grid move.
