Ness
I find it interesting that I got an invite for a flu jab and have had it. Mr Ness is registered with the same GP as me but because he’s 66 he hasn’t had a letter.

We don't get letters but texts, Ness. Might Mr Ness have overlooked a text?

Merry Fizzmas :-)
I’ve had my text (51) but declined as I had it paid by work. Nothing yet for WW (54).

At our medical practice, those aged 65+ were invited personally by letter and when they were done, there was a general text sent out to 50-64 yos inviting us to make an appointment. We got another text yesterday saying there are a limited number of vaccines left for a final clinic next Thursday and anyone who hasn't had it should contact them.
I don't know how they contact those that they haven't got mobile numbers for. I'm assuming they either write or phone 🤷‍♀️

MrsS always has problems with blood samples or cannulas as her veins are quite ‘mobile’ and friable. Makes for interesting bruises, we decided this one was an owl

um 🎄
Odd Ness, if 66, shouldn't he have been called up in the first wave?
(I got a ≥65 email at the beginning of Oct, my wife got a phone call this week for a jab today as part of the ≥60 wave, or whatever the next wave was)

I was puzzled though. I hear some got a pneumonia jab as well. I wasn't offered that. Was that only for specific risks? Or should I enquire about it?

Our surgery website says over 65’s should contact them now for appointment. Under that, don’t call us, we’ll text you.

Um, OH and I had the pneumonia jab when we turned 65. I should give your surgery a call if you're in the age group.
