They’re way-markers for the Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon organised by my club Keighley & Craven Garfield. It does what it says on the tin ie it’s a pretty well measured trail / fell 26 miler. It’s been held on the second Sunday in September for I think about twenty years and the plan is to put it on this year albeit on a low key, socially distanced, time trial basis

There’s a half too, which might be slightly longer than the traditional distance

tbh I don’t know the history of the stickers but think they’re relatively recent; say put up in the last four or five years?

I ran in my 2012 Yorkshire ORM this morning, can’t remember much of the course as I was sleep deprived. But I can remember my finish and position 🙄

Day 139 after 5k just now. I found it very muggy out... Tomorrow I'll go out before breakfast as I felt like I was running in a sauna!! Not hot fortunately.
