[LN - know it doesn't help your situation But I was counting the days to retirement (not enough to do and no prospect of things improving) until my company offered me a sum of money to retire early. Grabbed it with both hands and ran away]

I'm not saying I don't believe it's possible, I'm just wondering how you manage to hold down that high-powered job, do all those things with your spouse and children, go to the gym for 90 minutes a day, and still be glued to a niche internet forum doling out screeds of free relationship advice to randoms as if you were some sort of guru. I'm not at all curious about whether you ever leave the house and how often you change your pyjamas.

[Every time I see a picture of a CEO, or a bigwig in the NHS, I shall amuse myself briefly by imagining them reading popular self-help books and paraphrasing them on the internet under an avatar of a little fluffy doggy.]
