[Bits of our bathroom are still purple. The sink though is not. Nail brush and a bit of nail varnish remover did the trick. Bits missed just wore off over time.]

Phone reception hipps? I'm sure it won't be the worst stain they'll have dealt with. And their 'industrial' cleaners are likely to be more powerful than home ones.
Any pics? Of the hair, not the sink.

Most stains respond to acid (vinegar or better still citric acid crystals), alkali (bicarbonate of soda) or oxidising agents (hydrogen peroxide or one of the many white making crystals to go in your washer).
