Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[If you are really short sighted as I am, no way you can operate the machine for passport photos. I normally wear contacts so get round it this way]

The real reason you ask people coming to your club for the first time to come early is so that you can take their money and ignore them for longer.

[LG, I think you can sometimes get away with glasses, but the photo me booth rejected the glasses shot as unsuitable for a passport. I have plans to try again using an iPad and digital submission.]

[Just checked actual wording is "Do not wear sunglasses or tinted glasses. If you wear glasses that you cannot take off, your eyes must be visible without any glare or reflections."
I think last time I got a passport I had reactolite lenses so they were effectively tinted so I had to remove them - hence my recollection that glasses weren't allowed]

[ gov.uk - and there's a page for printed with examples of glasses OK and not OK.

Mine have been fine home made against a white door. Plus cropping to get just the right size/shape.
There's also photo checkers on NZ site (https://onlinephotochecker.passports.govt.nz/Home/TermsAndConditions) and buried in the US visa application process. I know they're not UK, but it does give a good degree of confidence.

I found most country entry photos, eg US, always want glasses removed]

Fragile Do Not Bend
I remembered to put clean knickers in my gym bag.

[Thankfully I was changing into leggings and a long top after the gym. I decided it was the universe’s way of telling me to go clothes shopping 😀]
