I do not now have a mental image of ITG in her knickers on a bus covered in Vaseline...

[I had a hospital appointment on Monday. I was then on another part of the hospital do had to be escorted by a staff member. When we got there, they told me that *I* had cancelled the appointment. No, I jolly well hadn't. Oh. You must have done. New appointment will be sent.
Yesterday, a letter from the hospital. I opened it thinking "that was quick, I waited weeks for the original". But no; "We apologise, but we have had to cancel your appointment in the X clinic on 13th February. Please call us on the above number to rebook."

So far I have called eight times with no reply and on two occasions was able to leave a message, which hasn't been responded to yet.]

DAMN FOOL PARENTS!

Buying new boots for your kid less than 72 hours prior to a challenge hike is a smart move *dumbass* . I know you know better than that ~ I know you know better because I've seen you suffer when you got it wrong.

And you! Seriously, with your experience? Planning on picking up a pair less than 24 hours before we set off?

It's a challenge and it WILL cause discomfort to all ~ it's a long hike and most adults would struggle :-o . So we're now having to plan in additional extractions plans, just because you can't be arsed to sort your shit out!

And if you try to opt to use the old excuse of buying them as late as possible so the don't grow out of them too quickly? Don't even try it, it was a load of old bollocks back in the day and it still is. Come here so I can slap your bell-ends with a mouse trap!

Blisters DO NOT toughen kids up! Miserable experiences put kids off! (Well, up until they understand 'Shared Misery' and Type II Fun)
